Four Women, One goal: to be catalysts for change.

In 2009, Zhang Tingjun, Anina Boshoff, Alexandra Toh and Jasmine Wong got involved in Tour de Timor, a five-day, 450-km biking adventure that would take them through the hills and potholes of nine districts in Timor Leste.

The physical challenge turned out to be less daunting than the reality of life in Timor, where over 50 per cent of the children are malnourished.

The four decided to re-define the finish line, returning the following year as The Chain Reaction Project.

They had a clear goal: to marry their love of adventure with their determination to raise awareness and funds for communities in need. Friends and family came along, experienced the thrill of a TCRP adventure and got up close to the people whose lives they hoped to transform.

Today, TCRP seeks to inspire others to take on physical challenges while being catalysts for change in those parts of the world that need it most.
